Our Story
Le Petit Passage is a celebration of timeless elegance & intimate discovery — an homage to French Regency refinement set against the sunlit charm of historical Palm Springs.
French regency Revival ARCHITECTURAL gem, circa 1946
In 1946, Isador Rubin, an established businessman & well known Furier of Beverly Hills, originally from Poland, commissioned architect Albert Raymond Walker to build 457 N Palm Canyon, a French Regency Revival architectural gem located in the heart of historical downtown Palm Springs. Albert Walker was most famously known for his design of the famous Beverly Wilshire Hotel, still celebrated and known for its beauty and historical preservation in Beverly Hills, California.
The building originally known as the ‘Penthouse Apartments and Shops’ throughout the 40s and 50s, was passed through different hands over the years, and eventually was re-named in the early 90s as the Galleria by previous owners, Jim & Tony, which was well known in the community for close to 30 years.
Today, this architectural gem is now owned and operated by established real estate developer, Shaheen Sadeghi, known for his unique & creative vision for his projects which include the Camp, the LAB, Anaheim Packing District, among many others.
The building has been lovingly restored and renamed Le Petit Passage, an homage to the French-inspired story & design aesthetic held in the soul of this historical building, unlike any other in the city of Palm Springs.
We invite you to visit us and rediscover this beautiful building, with a new vision and a fresh story to tell.
We look forward to re-welcoming you and to transport you to another place and time.
